Here are some of our favorite snacks while getting tattooed, and some of the best snacks we have seen clients bring in to get them through the session.
Soda - sodas have lots of sugar and are integrated into your blood stream fairly quickly, so you feel the beneficial effects faster.
Gum - when all else fails, a stick of gum can slightly perk you up and at the least give you something else to do besides sit and wait for your tattoo to be finished. It also keeps your breath minty fresh - bonus!
Snickers bars or Dairy Milk - Candy bars feel like a mini-meal and give you the sugar you need to get through the most demanding times in your tattoo session. After having one, you should feel perked up and ready to make it to the end!
Orange juice - another healthy alternative to the sugary snacks, OJ packs natural sugars that are easier to digest and break down. You will be less likely to experience a crash after your high if you pick orange juice to drink as your sugar source.
